Oriel Park Clean Up Day

On Sat­ur­day 24th Jan­u­ary, the Dun­dalk FC Sup­port­ers Trust col­lab­o­rat­ed with Dun­dalk FC, the 1903 Sup­port­ers Club & Shed­side Army to host a clean up and main­te­nance day in Oriel Park. We saw sup­port­ers ral­ly around the club and help with prepa­ra­tions for the new sea­son.

With the new pitch new installed and flood­light upgrades cur­rent­ly been car­ried out, Oriel was a hive of activ­i­ty on Sat­ur­day. We would like to thank every­one who came along to help, some of the work done was amaz­ing.

The away end was cleared of all vegetation/weeds, all old fenc­ing removed in prepa­ra­tion for new per­ma­nent fenc­ing to be installed. The shed was repaint­ed and cleaned, all seats repaired and pow­er washed.  The main stand seats were all cleaned and some paint­ing down in this area, with Everkleen com­ing on board to clean the glass in stand, as well as pow­er wash­ing the exte­ri­or of the Com­mu­ni­ty Cen­tre.

By the time our first game comes around the place should have a fresh look about it.

We would like to thank all vol­un­teers help­ing, also thank Adri­an Con­lon and Brew Crew for pro­vid­ing Tea’s & Cof­fee’s to all there and Mo Chara for pro­vid­ing Lunch and refresh­ments in the Lily­white Lounge.
