The Board met with new Academy Director, Tom Mohan, to discuss his plans and how we can assist with these. We have begun with work on the grass pitch on Carrick road end to allow both the Academy and senior teams to use this fantastic facility. Tom is eager to have pitch ready for pre academy camps at Halloween, we have dedicated a CE Scheme role to this pitch so its maintained to the highest order.
We presented Tom with a cheque for €14.5K from the successful Golf Classic for the Academy.

On the CE Scheme position’s, we have 3 roles now within Oriel Park and the feedback from these has been very good. The close season should allow us fully utilise these roles while also allow us to continue improvement works in Oriel.

Board members held discussions with Executive Director, Chris Clinton to outline the clubs plans for future and how we can play our part. Chris was extremely positive in the role the trust has played so far and what we can achieve in the future.

Recently we sponsored the Women’s Development League Cup Final in Oriel Park. This occasion was an opportunity for the ladies team to showcase their rapid progress so far and the plan to have a League of Ireland club in season 2028. The Final was well attended and showed what we can achieve when we work together. We would like to thank Four Star Pizza, Goldstar Jewellers and John Whyte Electrical for their support on the night.
